Surround Yourself With The Right People

My buddy did something on my bucket list... and he shared it with me.

I have been a huge fan of aircraft my entire life. As a child traveling with my family, I would watch planes when we were at the airport.

I still feel like a kid at the airport watching them fly.

I have flown on practically every type of commercial aircraft known to man.

I still have something that is on my bucket list... to fly on a private jet.

I don't want to do it to show off. I am really interested in how they work, what it feels like on them, and different design models.

Today, I got a text from a good friend of mine. He was urgently trying to talk with me in the middle of the day. I finally texted back when I got a break and he asked me to FaceTime with him.

When the FaceTime opened... there was my friend Mike... flying solo in a private jet!

He took me on a tour of it while he was flying. He introduced me to the pilots and showed me the cockpit. I was so happy he shared this with me! I was so happy for Mike! I loved our tour and conversation while he was flying. It was a first for Mike.

He knew it was on my bucket list and wanted to share his journey with me. He thought to call me during it.

You see, when you surround yourself with people who know you and care about you, they share things with you. Mike is one of those down to earth people I care about and love to hang out with.

So even though I have not crossed off this on my bucket list, it was incredible that he shared the experience with me.

Frankly, I can't stop smiling!

So surround yourself with great people in 2022. You won't regret it!
